How to add a billion MySpace friends

Cute and to the point - did you know that the css style for your friends network is defined by:

.redbtext

Thus, you add:

.redbtext:after { content: " billion"; }

to your Myspace profile and instead of showing 93 friends, say, it will show, 93 billion.

If you’ve ever had a chance to meander by a MySpace profile or perhaps 45 zillion of them, you’ll notice they all (for the most part) have this lovely button or graphics that lets you add them as a friend to your network.

Now…why would you want to do this?

Well, several reasons actually. If you’re part of a clique in school, you can network together and send each other cool messages about the music you’ve heard, the 764 page essay you need to write, the 43 college applications you have to fill out etc.

If instead you absolutely adore American Idol, you can add people whose profile indicates their day just isn’t successful unless they’ve had the latest in AI updates.

If you’re try to build a business online, you can search for other MySpacers who have hobbies or passions in the same niche and ask to be included in their network too! Then once you have a product or service developed, you can post a bulletin to alert your friends.

MySpace Friends can truly be a powerful resource.

Of course, there are difficulties and dangers for which you must be aware. Lots of people will post false information for one. Never ever give out your true identity or personal information! You never know who is reading your profile.
